In a late change to the advertised line– (Jon Carter had to pull out at the last minute due to circumstances beyond our control) the Disco Shedonists welcome the brilliant Kleptones to The Book Club for the first time.
Technically just one man, generous to the max, The Kleptones give away all their music via website and Soundcloud page, where you’ll nairy find a more polished or creative collection of mash–ups and mixes.
Or as they put it, “The Kleptones understand that recycling musical styles is a pop tradition that’s older than the blues… Imagine the aching walls of sound of Bob Seger’s “Night Moves” grafted, as if by a mad scientist from the bayou, to the crass hip-hop assault of the No Limit Tank Soldiers, and you haven’t even come close.” – Nuff said!
DJ Shepdog, birthday boy Del Gazeebo and Disco Shed head Peepshow Paddy, along with a rolling cast of gnomes, old tools and things your grandad might like, complete the supporting cast. Get ready for some shedonism and remember, if your gnome’s not down, you’re not coming in. The Kleptones
