The mysterious BarryDark keeps a low profile when it comes to the shed, seemingly only appearing to bash out a characteristcally smooth and seamless set before vanishing again into the wilds of the night, never to be seen again!

DJ-BD has earned his keeps at venues that bring spice to London. The Big Chill Bar, Guanabara, Corsica Studios, the Old Queens Head, Match, Queen of Hoxton, Cargo, Gilgamesh and many other underground, Members, and private Floors see DJ-BD on a musically rich, and dancefloor-attuned rotation of the most respected clubs in the capital.

DJ-BD tailors his sound to each event and venue to ensure that the sets he plays remain exclusive to that place only. This approach has seen him invited to play alongside the musically diverse, and respectable Seniors of contemporary music, including DJ Yoda, Roni Size, Fuck Buttons, Mark E, DJ Derek, Tom Middleton, The Bays, Domu, A Skillz, Plaid, Coldcut, Alex Paterson, Palmskin Productions, Dub Pistols, Jon Hopkins, Luke Slater Swayzak, and many more underground artists.

As a founder of the long-established Digital City warehouse parties, and a resident DJ for the Disco Shed festival collective, DJ-BD has also developed a two fold speciality in promoting highly clandestine Audio-Visual showcases in unusual locations throughout the capital, while also taking a live re-edit sound to festivals including Latitude, the Secret Garden Party and the Big Chill. It is under these guises that his mixes have featured on both Radio 1 and XFM.

Outside of the UK, DJ-BD has played in countries all over the world, including Australia, Colombia, France, the Czech Republic and Argentina. His international reputation has been picked up by EPM who distribute prereleased and essential European catalogues to DJ-BD before they have crossed the channel.
