Another one of the Disco Shed’s mega talented super producers, Harvey K Tel almost single handedly soundtracks the Disco Shed – you’re guaranteed to hear some of his feel good smashers some time at a shed gig! From the brilliant Boops Apocolypse, to the cheeky Ranking in the Deep, his wicked mash-ups regularly top the Juno download charts. He was also the musical brains who brought to being Count Skylarkin’s idea for to Dub of a Preacherman.

His record label Music For The People is dedicated to bringing tunes to the masses through occasional fun & funky 7″ releases.

Our musical manifesto is to create utopian slabs of vinyl where liberated samples can mix together, free from oppressive genre regimes!

Influences

Hip Hop (from old-school to golden era), 80s Electro/Rap, Funk, Boogaloo, Ska, Reggae, Dub, ’90-92 Hardcore, Afrobeat, House, Disco, 60s Psychedelic, Library music.

His eclectic DJ sets more than fulfil the same brief, and to top his repuation as a musical magician he can be relied upon to seemingly play for hours from 4 records without repeating a tune. Legend.

“These guys take mash-ups to the next level – essential dj nuggets!”
