Peepshow Paddy, DJ, promoter & Disco Shed co-founder
In 1997 when, as an 18 year old bored-of-indie kid, Patrick Bickerton, aka Peepshow Paddy got his first set of decks and promptly fell in love with DJing.
His first paid gig came in 2000, festivals followed in 2002 and a year later he that launched AV club night Peepshow in Oxford, hosting legendary nights with acts such as Mylo, Hexstatic, Coldcut, The Bays, Belleruche, The Egg, and Ulrich Schnauss amongst others, earning glowing praise from clubbers and critics alike.
July 2005 was a heady month for Paddy as he was instrumental in setting up the festival Festinho, then met his now-wife whilst DJing at Truck Festival, and the following week conceived the Disco Shed at Count Skylarkin’s infamous house-warming party.
Since then, he has concentrated on spreading the good gospel of shedonism, bringing a good time guaranteed party vibe to events from massive festivals to cool club nights and these days, a whole lotta love to people getting married.
He founded the Disco Wed spin-off in 2011, largely in response to demand for his DJ services from cool couples seeking a credible alternative to cheesy wedding DJ cliches, and is now firmly established as one of the foremost, well regarded and reputable entertainment suppliers in the UK wedding industry.
As a DJ, his wide-ranging tastes led to his anything goes approach, seamlessly mixing up genres in an inimitable party rockin’ style. He has rocked festivals including Glastonbury, Reading, Bestival, Leeds, Shambala, Latitude, the Big Chill, the Radio One Big Weekender and too many more to mention!
He embodies the eclectic nature of the Disco Shed like no other, and is rarely in better form than when playing one of his traditional Sunday night festival-closing sets.
